Kathy found endurance sports later in life after having three children and finding her life partner Cody a fews later. In just 4 short years, Kathy went from newbie to National Champion on the XTERRA triathlon scene, to winning mountain bike races (including the Epic Singletrack Series this year!) in the Professional Women’s field just three years later.
A firm believer that your age is just a number and it’s your desire to improve is what matters, Kathy works hard and has fun doing it.

Together, Cody & Kathy make the dynamic duo of Team Waite. They raise three high-school-aged girls together, run their training and coaching facility together, train hard together, and make the most of life together….
Together, they even won the Firecracker 50 as a co-ed duo team this year, a prestigious 50-mile mountain bike race in the Colorado Rockies held every year on the 4th of July.
